Balsamic Glazed Brussel Sprouts

Balsamic Glazed Brussel Sprouts



1lb Brussel sprouts cut in 1/2 blanched
1 tbl Minced garlic
4oz Diced bacon
1/4 Cup chopped hazelnuts
2 tbl Grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 Cup balsamic vinegar
2 tsp Honey


Heat saute pan to medium heat. Add bacon and cook until 3/4 done, add garlic and saute until translucent.  Add brussels sprouts and cook until brussels sprouts start to brown and are tender through out.  Add balsamic vinegar and honey and cook to reduce to a thicker syrup. Season with salt and pepper.  Remove from heat and place in serving bowl.  Top with toasted chopped hazelnuts and parmesan cheese.
