(LAS VEGAS, August 21, 2017) – Palms Casino Resort, the iconic property recently acquired by Station Casinos, will unveil its upgraded meetings and convention spaces on September 16, the inaugural display of the first phase of a $146 million property remodel that includes new restaurants, luxury theaters, upgraded high-limit gaming areas, an all-new registration and VIP desk and remodeled porte-cochere.

“The stylish and advanced remodel to our meetings and convention spaces at Palms is just a preview of what is to come,” said Vice President and General Manager Jon Gray, who recently returned to the Palms where his hospitality career began, to usher in its next era. “With this complete upgrade, Palms will continue to be a world-class host for the city’s premier meetings and events.”

Since opening in 2001, the Palms rightly earned a reputation for its exacting business-to pleasure ratio, playing host to legendary business conferences for many Fortune 500 companies and memorable events, including the MTV Video Music Awards, etched in pop-culture history.

The tradition continues with the redesign of the Palms’ 19,000-square-foot meeting and event spaces, which include five meeting rooms and a 10,300-square-foot grand ballroom. The high-minded design will embolden and brighten with geometric elements and vibrant art further refined by gilded marble and dark wood.  The spacious pre-function area features a backlit bar and handsome leather furnishings. Whether catering to a group of 20 or 1,000, venues can be customized with the latest AV capabilities as well as seating and table configurations. A sign of the times: A custom digital signage system by tech titan Four Winds boasts interactive 60-inch displays throughout meeting rooms and an upgraded sound system. Meanwhile, expect updates to the business center, enclosed in glass for the utmost combination of privacy, convenience and accessibility, while connecting hallways and restrooms will soon follow suit with newly added design enhancements.

In celebration of the visionary spaces, the Palms will offer a special incentive for the first meeting planners who book. The “Industry Insider & Incentives” package will include a $200 spa credit for the meeting planner, as well as the following benefits for the group:

  • 20-100 rooms on peak: one complimentary coffee break
  • 101-300 rooms on peak: one complimentary cocktail reception (based on peak room night)
  • 300 + rooms on peak: 10% credit to the master account

After work, play begins: Unwind in one of 1,200 guest rooms in the Palms’ three towers, dine at several onsite restaurants, indulge at the property’s day-life and nightlife entertainment venues or relax in luxurious suites offerings unbeatable panoramic views of Las Vegas.
