The Charcoal Room at Palace Station to host wine dinner with La Crema winery



(LAS VEGAS, Feb. 16, 2017) – Enjoy a five-course dinner pairing with wines from La Crema winery on Thursday, April 20 from 6-8 p.m. at The Charcoal Room inside Palace Station. The dinner will feature a wine expert from the Sonoma County, Calif.-based La Crema winery who will introduce wine pairings and answer questions throughout the five-course meal. La Crema wine dinner menu

First course – Muscovy duck carpaccio made with a raspberry and balsamic reduction; paired with a 2015 La Crema Rose from Monterey

Second course – Citrus cured seafood composition – sea salt cured halibut, orange and lemon cured salmon, caper berries, saffron aioli and crostinis; paired with a 2014 Pinot Gris from Monterey

Third course – Pan roasted Kurobuta pork loin with cornbread stuffing, braised apples, fruit and honey relish; paired with a 2014 La Crema Pinot Noir from the Sonoma Coast

Fourth course –Prime New York steak medallion, chipolini onions and fingerling potatoes; paired with a 2014 La Crema Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley

Fifth course – Mascarpone baked Alaska – a mascarpone ice cream cake with Italian meringue; paired with a Tawny 20 year Port.
