Veteran Sports Book Executive, Chuck Esposito, Joins Station Casinos

Move reunites odds maker with former boss Art Manteris

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE February 3, 2012

LAS VEGAS – Station Casinos’ sports book operations just added more muscle to its already strong team in the race and sports book operations with the addition of well-respected race and sports book veteran Chuck Esposito. He joins the Company as the Director of Race and Sports Book Operations at Sunset Station.

The move has additional significance as it reunites Esposito with one of his mentors and first industry supervisor, Art Manteris, Vice President of Race and Sports Book Operations at Station Casinos who is one of the foremost authorities in the sports gaming industry.

"I’m excited to work with Chuck again. He is a talented executive that will help to strengthen an already strong sports book operation team," said Art Manteris, Vice President of Race and Sports Book Operations for Station Casinos. The sports book operations team is led by Manteris at the helm with additional leadership by Jason McCormick, Director of Race and Sports Book Operations at Red Rock Resort, which serves as the Company’s hub for all 18 sports books as well as Bert Cirincione who oversees the Green Valley Ranch sports book and all satellite operations.

In his role at Sunset Station, Esposito will oversee the race and sports book operations as well as be involved in the Company’s bookmaking initiatives.

Esposito brings more than 25 years of sports book operations experience to his role at Sunset Station including overseeing the day-to-day operations of the race and sports books at Caesars Palace and at the Las Vegas Hilton (today LVH) where he got his start in the industry and worked under Manteris’ leadership for nearly 15 years. He also served in various casino executive roles at the Venetian/Palazzo Resorts and the Tropicana Las Vegas. Esposito, similar to Manteris and McCormick, is one of the few trusted voices for the local and national media on all subject matters related to the sports book industry.

"I’m thrilled to once again be working with my mentor Art Manteris who taught me the sports book industry from the ground up," said Chuck Esposito, Director of Race and Sports Book Operations at Sunset Station. "I’ve also admired Station Casinos for many years and am looking forward to being an integral part of the sports book operations team," he said.
